Alexandra is known as The Body Engineer and is the founder of The Merisoiu Technique Institute Of Health And Natural Human Movement™.

She works with people who have a passion and want to excel through strong foundations. It is more than just fitness and fun, it is body mastery based on Martial Arts Wisdom™ and Natural Human Movement™. Her clients are passionate and dedicated to get the results they seek.

Since 1995 Alexandra has explored how the body and mind works. She has done this through using many different sporting techniques and working with a wide variety of highly respected coaches. She has been ranked 2nd and 3rd at WORLD KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP, 2 times NATIONAL KARATE CHAMPION, WORLD CUP CHAMPION and is a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Karate Shotokan. She still competes at an international level. It is through these learnings that she has created The Merisoiu Technique and has established her own unique transformational programs that incorporate thousands of years of knowledge with Natural Human Movement™.

Clients come to her lacking the confidence, enthusiasm and desire to spend time exercising in a gym. They also lack the mental and physical strength and power required to reach their fitness goals.

The Merisoiu Technique was created to overcome these problems. It’s a system that focuses on building strong foundations for a powerful body and mind.

This is done through five essential principles addressing the fundamentals of Natural Human Movement™. After completing the first stages of training her clients feel strong, powerful and confident in their abilities and knowledge.

Her mission is to challenge the status quo to enable people to reach their goals. This is done through building strong, lasting foundations in the natural outdoor environment; reducing the risk of injuries and educating people on the power of the fundamentals of Natural Human Movement™.


In Tai Chi philosophy: Injury is the natural consequence of meeting brute force with brute force. This is how we move, run, walk, lift and use our bodies daily in today’s society: using force and strength.
This lack of awareness and softness is causing us a lot of pain.  And the thing is when we have pain it doesn’t show up until later in life.
When Alexandra created The Merisoiu Technique it was because her clients wanted to get fit, strong and powerful.
However they also needed to understand how their bodies function, how to move soft and fluid and how to prevent injury as much as possible. And it was essential not to sacrifice the later for the former.
It was imperative for them to understand the difference between tension and relaxation, intentional movement, posture and balance and counterbalance.
The Mindful Control component is where Alexandra’s clients learn to bring together or to align body, breath, and mind.
And then to catapult their results we brought in the physical and psychological benefits and the freedom of training outdoors all year round. Benefits such as strength and emotional balance. And of course the nutrition and healthy habits part.

Finally, it became clear that her clients needed to have access to a complete system which would offer them the foundations they needed to live a healthy and fit life for the rest of their lives. Once you understand the basics of movement, posture, breathing, nutrition and Mindful Control then you actually become in control of your own life, for the rest of your life.

So all these lead to her creating a unique transformational system: The Merisoiu Technique which incorporates five essential principles of a healthier lifestyle: Earthing, Fluid Movement, Food Discipline™, Mindful Control, Organic Movement.

All in all The Merisoiu Technique involves coordinated movement, breath, and awareness, building a strong and fit body and learning how to implement healthy habits and nutrition. It’s about building the foundations of a healthy lifestyle and reclaiming your nature.
